This week's project involves making vintage cans from old food cans and cute vintage labels. I was having a difficult time finding the right sort of labels, when I came across papiervalise's tutorial which I am so thankful for. The tutorial can be found here. While searching for old labels, I came across these set of cute vintage labels on flickr by Nancy Baumiller. There are quite a few more if you follow this link to flickr. Assuming you love all things vintage and cute. Enjoy!
Or you can get ORIGINAL labels...all kinds...here http://www.paperstuff.com/
ReplyDeleteBut you have to pay for them!
DeleteYour cans turned out beautifully. I checked out all the links, but was unable to find the labels in the photos though. The ones you used are particularly charming and I'd love to be able to print some myself. Any thoughts on where I could find them? Many thanks, Jenn/Rook No. 17
ReplyDeleteHi there, these are beautiful and such a great idea! I have had the same problem as Jenn, I cannot find the labels to print them myself.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Cynthia
I love this, shared the pin/link here:

The reason that you can't find the images is because the original artist is showcasing her work on Flickr and she is not a paid "Pro" account, so only the most recent 200 of her images are available for public viewing :(.
ReplyDelete"VIntage Freebies" I cannot find the "freebie" part of this.
ReplyDeleteThanks, but I just got a bunch of printed screen pages.
ReplyDeleteI'm using Google images and am having much luck. Try it out :)
ReplyDeleteYou'd be surprised at how inexpensive you can get some original, vintage labels for at paperstuff.com. Just a thought...
